Built inside a portfolio, for teams that answer for more than one brand

Tech Family Ventures runs communities, conferences, a venture fund, an awards platform, and a studio of software products: 24 brands, one small team, and a tool stack that grew with every brand. We could not buy a system that treated each brand as its own workspace under one roof, so we built one. It now runs the whole portfolio, and it is the product on this site.

CommsOperator is a multi-brand communications platform built by Tech Family Ventures and offered by WomenTech LLC, a Delaware company. It runs communications for the group's own 24 brand workspaces, including WomenTech Network, AI Builders Network, Chief in Tech Capital, EventHash, and Awardee: 227,000+ contacts, 11,800+ deals, and 40+ connected Microsoft 365 mailboxes on one instance. External customers join by request in private beta. The team is based in Europe. The shared instance is hosted in Germany; dedicated instances run in the EU or the US.

What we believe

Four things we do not trade away

Governed, not autonomous

The AI writes the first draft and sorts the inbox. A person decides what leaves, and the log records who decided. That rule made us build the approval queue into the agent from its first commit. Every drafted send waits there by default; auto-delivery exists only behind a flag an admin turns on, and even then likely-EU recipients drop back to a person.

Honest claims

Every sentence on this site maps to shipped code. Where something is partial or planned, the page says so. It costs us a few ticks on a comparison table; a wrong answer in your security review would cost you far more.

One workspace per brand

Isolation is the product, not a plan tier. The brand you add tomorrow gets its own inbox, CRM, opt-out list, and roles, scoped to its own workspace, exactly like the one you run today.

Your tenant, your region, your exit

Your mail stays in Microsoft 365; we keep a working copy. The shared instance runs in Germany, or you get a dedicated instance in the EU or the US. Export and deletion are on request, without a retention fight.

History

How it got here, in the order it happened

  1. 2025

The internal platform for the Tech Family Ventures portfolio: a shared inbox on Microsoft 365, a CRM, a knowledge base, and website widgets, built because the per-brand tool stack was multiplying with every brand the group added.

  2. Early 2026

Campaigns, sequences, the approval queue, policy packs, and the sales agent, hardened on the group's own sponsorship and community outreach before any outside team saw them.

  3. July 2026

Production moved to Hetzner in Germany with a Neon database in Frankfurt. WomenTech Network folded HubSpot, Brevo, and 97 web forms into one CRM of 222,000+ contacts. EU AI Act Article 50 mechanics shipped.

  4. August 2026

Self-serve signup closed at the end of July and access by request opened for external teams. The trust center, the full legal set, and dedicated EU or US instances followed in August.
